I’d never heard of Jeff Dunham before but he somehow appeared on my YouTube feed. His video “Meet Achmed the dead terrorist” was in desperately bad taste and absolutely hilarious. He is apparently credited with rescuing the ventriloquist’s art in the USA.

His puppets transcend the art.

Sorry, but I can't stand ventriloquism. I would prefer watching that bloke bang a tin tray on his head to the tune of Bullet Train, or whatever it was.

I have to say that I found it funny too, It's been around for a good few years.

Dominic, I think that it's the whole act and content, rather than simply the ventriloquism, that's entertaining.
