I have just used the last of a 400gm pack of Morrells premium unsmoked Back Bacon "from England with Love".

BUT.. I cannot remember where I bought it from. Do other members know where I can get it from ??

I looked at Garden of Eden this morning and at Alpha Megga, and Ikagora. i have still not found any. It's a shame because it was good thick bacon, and not particularly prone the shrinking when cooked.

Bought smoked bacon from Paps....deli counter, they cut as many slices as required....really very good....

daveg, do you know if it was back bacon or streaky?

Twas back bacon, bought a kilo instead of 12 euro it was 8....
Not full of water, very nice too....
I believe streaky is available as well....

That is very good value. I will certainly look next time I am in there. The pre-packed chilled stuff is hardly worth buying and cooking
