Trying to buy a new Kindle "Model Paperwhite" it seems Amazon world wide has none in stock! anyone know what is going on?

Amazon UK only show stock available for delivery to your location. Try a location in in UK as they do not deliver Kindles to Cyprus. Not sure about Amazon.de

My wife got a new Kindle Paperwhite a few weeks ago.
We had same message as Jim ( none in stock ) so daughter in
UK ordered kindle and had it sent to her address, then she posted
it to us In Cyprus. All in all, it took only 2.5 weeks.
