The Coronation

Post by Firefly »

To all members of the forum.

Just as a matter of interest, do you intend to watch the coronation?

Probably, but now the attention seeking american woman has decided to send her 'author' husband, I'm wary of all the nonsense associated with this sideshow!

As a rule I find most ceremonies crushingly boring, but I will probably watch a bit just to see the spectacle. It is something the British do rather well, after all.

I didn't think that I would watch the queen's funeral, but I watched the whole of it, very impressive. So I probably will.

No David, not for me. I did watch the late queen's funeral, as you did, but then I respected her.

I was surprised at just how many people were shopping in Tesco, when I was, at 11.30am. It didn't look much different to a normal Saturday to me.

I'm not anti Royal, if it had been William and Kate, I would have been delighted, but it wasn't!
