Kotsovolos Open In Paphos

A new Electronics Department Store has opened in Paphos, up by Sports Direct. Kotsovolos is kind of like Currys in the UK, in their product range. We were after a new phone for our daughter, so popped in to check them out.

Looks great a bit more competition for the other electrical shops may bring prices down

For us plebs who neither reside or read greek. Is this the main road you would take to Polis?

Seems you cant read English very well either, It say in the first post, "up by Sports Direct".

You mean the B7, which is labelled as such on the map on Page 2 of the article? Yes.

Dear Uncle D, for your info I was taught Latin not Greek at school and my English is usually very good. However I do not as you assume know where "Sports direct is" so my original question applies........is this the main road to Polis?

Yes, it’s on the main road on the way to us. Great shop have “indulged” already

Dominic, thanks for a very informative article. It all looks very good and bears comparison with Curry's which has a huge branch in my present location in Cheltenham...
I'm interested to see another retailer of Apple Computers in Paphos. I have previously visited I-Storm in the Mall which is an Apple Store. Now competition for them?
Though Apple doesn't indulge in price wars.

According to a comment on Facebook they are actually a subsidiary of Currys.

From the PLC website:
“ In the UK&I we trade as Currys; in the Nordics under the Elkjøp brand and as Kotsovolos in Greece and Cyprus.”
About 90 odd branches across mainland Greece, Crete and Rhodes plus the stores here in Nicosia, Limassol and now Paphos, so decent purchasing power.
