Paphos Life

As the introduction of Geronisos Island (Holy Island) in todays CMail ( getting to know the capital of culture better.. ) was quite poorly, I found this nice drone video from Manos which shows the beauty and importance of this area of Paphos district. Excavations on this little Island which goes back more than 3000 BC is clearly seen on this video, even the ancient harbour one can see (minute 5.16) This area is the first point ancient sailors from the West reached after many days being on the boat from Greek Islands and I believe that Akamas was then a very busy place to land as they were sure exhausted.
Now I hope you will enjoy the video the same way I did right now.

It didn't like landing in the swimming pool. I can tell you that much.

Gob-smackingly beautiful aerial video footage, and thanks for sharing it, Max... What a clever man Manos is, with his expertise on drone technology, as well !!!

He makes the viewer 'feel' like they're in the helicoptor, sitting alongside the pilot, looking down through the perspex bubble... Wicked!

The Verengaria 'Ghost Hotel' above Prodromos, Lemasos... This HAS to to be yet another family fall-out situation (like the McArthur in A.G.) I think? So sad... AL
