Anybody know what this flower is?

My mother would like to know. I saw it growing as a weed besides the road near the ISOP.

Yes, it's a caper flower. Capers are the buds of the flowers. So you can cut the buds when they're small and pickle them to eat, or leave them alone and let them develop into these lovely flowers.
They are plentiful in the countryside at the end of May/beginning of June. I've taken quite a few photos over the years.
