I paid my road tax for 2023 (22 Euro) just this moment without any problems via the link provided by WHL.

Tried to pay at one Alpha bank branch on Friday they said no ,went to their other branch and they done it straight away . Maybe the first branch could not be bothered ?

Perhaps... I went to the branch on Ellados Rd last Friday, I also was told the same thing as you, but I didn't try the other branch. Instead I went to Papantinou's, who were happy to do it for me.
I was surprised that the bank cashier refused, as I'd done my car tax there previously. She wasn't busy either. Heh ho..
