It was more of a Jane McDonald show than anything to do with Cyprus.
Wasnβt impressed.

What ever you may think of Jane, I thought it was a good advert in general for our adopted country Cyprus.

The Greek dancing was at the Demokritos, the taverna has been going since the 80s at one time 80/early 90s they had the water sports on Coral Bay Beach and I remember in the 80s they ran the few sunbeds and brollies the sunbeds were wooden
Chris Peteβs brother looked like he was at the Alkion
Iβm not a fan of the Cap St George looks like a concrete jungle
It gave a example of what was available in and around of the Paphos Region

All of the programmes I have watched with Jane McDonald in are about her , the subject matter is secondary.
Terry
It is free positive publicity for Cyprus and its tourist industry , win win for everyone

While I enjoyed seeing familiar places, the whole thing seemed to be overly manufactured.
In fact, I've been told that, despite the narrative on the programme, she'd never actually met Chris Andre prior to the filming.

No doubt, but why not just say that, rather than pretend you're long lost pals.

We enjoyed the programme and it was a good advert for Cyprus. Not sure why she has to sing at the end of each show. Unnecessary, but pretty harmless.
