Feels like more countries are starting to take cannabis regulation seriously instead of just brushing it off as a taboo topic. The shift toward legalising recreational use might also help open up proper medical access for people who actually need it for chronic issues.
In the UK, things are still more conservative on the recreational side, but I know there are clinics that legally prescribe
THC for pain under medical supervision. It’s not a free-for-all, but if someone’s dealing with long-term pain and not getting much relief elsewhere, it’s becoming a more realistic option than it used to be.

If they legalised all drugs, and used established drug companies to produce them, you wouldn't stop end-users getting hooked, but would eliminate the income source for most terrorist organisations in the World, and drastically reduce domestic crime.
