We had the same in Polemi, shortly after 4am.. It is still thundering and lightning as I type this.
Sadly the rescue dog that we have is very frightened and I have to hold him close to me in bed..
Dog walks could be a challenge today, although we have been out on the first wee one.

Tipping it down now, all over the region, judging by the webcams.

Considering that the forecast I posted, was 4 days ago, it is quite accurate so far. Saturday I had a lovely time at the Timi beach tavern, however since 4.30 this morning there was permanent thunder noise in the air until 8.30 and so far I measured 42 l/m2 and it is still raining a bit...
