Large fire yesterday Episkopi/Ezousa area... pics

There was no mentioning in the main Press yesterday that the fire at Episkopi Ezousa area towards Elediou was successful stopped after fighting it for more than 3 hours with 2 helicopter and 3 chemical planes. Luckily there was not too much wind and the Asprokremmos Dam nearby. Also the small yellow planes had only a short way to the airport in order to refill.
The area of the fire was several kilometers long
and the helicopters came every 5 minutes or so from the nearby Dam
it took the yellow planes a bit longer to come back after refill from Paphos Airport
But it still took from the start of the fire 2.30 PM until 6 PM to finish the job. I am just wondering why the fire was on such a long distance....
