Paphos Life

My beloved hibiscus ( shrubs not potted ) that i have cherished for over 12/13 years seem to be giving up their zest for life.No flowers on them and loosing all their leaves looking very skeleton like.
My botanical skills are about zero, so i consulted the board members ( down at the pub of course ) Their expert opinions ( and dont forget were all experts after cunsuming a couple ) where split 50/50.Some said that i was watering them to much some said i was,nt watering them enough.
Any advise or help would be very much appreciated.

Ours have been devastated this summer by mealybug so worth checking this isn’t your problem.

If 's mealybugs then a spray with diluted washing up liquid usually works. After spraying they may look a bit lifeless with some yellowing leaves but they do come back OK.
