At the Manchester Arena last night a terrorist bomb has killed at least 19 with 59 injured many of them children. So sad for all of those victims.

Horrific news. So unbelievably awful for those involved. Don't know what else to say, just feeling stunned.

Such dreadful news. How can there be ANY justification of this?

The response by the emergency services as ever, is fantastic. Off duty staff have offered to go in to work, to give help and support to their colleagues. People of Manchester have offered accommodation, food etc to anyone caught up in this horror. Cab drivers offered to take people to wherever they needed to go, without charge. THIS is what the UK is about, not the mindless terrorism that robs our children of their futures, and leaves so many broken-hearted families. RIP to those innocents. May the perpetrator rot in Hell. I feel SO upset by this.

22 families whose lives have been devastated and will never been the same again plus all those injured who have to suffer the trauma. My thoughts are with them all.

During the second world war Hitler thought that the more bombs that were dropped on the UK the more the British people would want to surender, it didnt work then and it wont work now ,

Feeling sickened and shocked, two of my granddaughters were there, but thank God got home safely, It could have been so different. My heart goes out to the families of those dead or injured, facing the reality of what happened, what a terrible end to a fun night out.

Now they are killing our children, God help us !

I sincerely hope both your granddaughters are o.k today - shock of what might have been often appears in cases such as theirs. Give them both a hug from me.
I also send my deepest condolences to all those whose relatives lost their lives and good wishes for a speedy recovery to the injured. It beggars belief that innocent young people enjoying a night out are met with such senseless violence and for what pray? Words fail me and I dare say many others but my thoughts and prayers go with all affected.

I've been watching the news with almost unbelief that such abominable people walk this earth. But then, one of the most abominable people on earth has himself just died. Murder in any shape or form is horrendous, but those who deliberately bring death to children deserve their own space in everlasting hell.

I just cannot imagine what the parents of these youngsters must be going through, my sincere condolences and prayers go out to each of them.

Thank you for your good wishes. I am worried about the long term effects that this could have mentally. My daughter tells me that today my eldest granddaughter has gone to work as usual, her younger sister is also attending High School. Only time will tell, I don't know as yet just how much they experienced. Just feel so sick, we could have been arranging two funerals today !

My daughter's friend travelled from Scotland to Manchester for this concert. Thankfully she is shaken but OK. I cannot begin to imagine how the families of those killed, injured or missing must feel, it is just horrific.

There are several people on Facebook offering to travel down to Manchester from Scotland to collect stranded people or to take relatives down there - there are so many good people in the world, unfortunately sometimes overshadowed by the evil but hopefully never beaten.
