I am looking to ship a package in from the U.K. The package weighs 24kilos. Any recommendations please.

We used. http://www.lhukcy.com When we had a heavy and awkward package. Good if you don't need it urgently. Easy system and cheap too definitely recommend

Are goods shipped with Lee insured? We used him some years ago & at that time they weren't insured but a great service.

I too have used Lee in the past and a large package went missing. After waiting a few months the package was declared lost and like Cactus Lil I found out there was no insurance covering missing goods.
Hopefully this has changed now, but it is worth checking out.. Especially as it would seem now cactus lil has spoken up that it is not a one off situation. I wonder who gets the missing goods ?

Try a quote but make sure it's not classed as dangerous goods (small print).

I placed an order with Amazon on Sunday. Yesterday (Tuesday) UPS rang to say they will deliver today to my home.
