We will soon be visiting someone in hospital. In order to do so we will need a PCR test at the hospital. We're a bit out of touch, anyone know how much a PCR test costs now?

This is the most recent announcement I can find dated 12 August which only mentions Rapid Tests.

'However, COVID-19 Rapid testing units will continue to operate outside public hospitals in all regions, between the hours of 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., to service patients, visitors and staff to these hospitals, who by Decree are required to present a negative a 24-hour Rapid test result to enter.'

When my husband was admitted as a emergency on a Saturday.
We got charge 75 on him leaving the hospital. They said it was for covid test. Paid it but thought it was a lot.

We've just found out that in this private hospital in Nicosia, the PCR tests are €30 each, and the patients are allowed multiple visitors - obviously all with negative PCR tests.

The wife will be charged €20 at the local private hospital (Evangelismos) she is having total hip replacement on Gesy..
