Use of Hotel pools daily (Nonres)

Does anyone know of any hotels that allow non guests access for the day either fee paying or not.
Our committee on our complex in Tala have roped off our communal pool for use of residents and guests because someone has reported us to the local community that we have no life guard. Our granddaughter is over for a week and is very disappointed at this news. Can anyone help.

Some of the hotels that have water parks, eg King Evelthon or Leonardo Laura Beach & Splash Resort welcome outsiders for a charge.
Both on the coast road in Chloraka.

€15 per child per day at Laura a sack according to this

Evelthon used to €15 as well. Friends used to use Cynthiana Beach Hotel and swim in the little cove they have there.

Are there any private villas with a pool on your complex who may be prepared to let your granddaughter have a swim in their pool?

This is interesting Mike 1940 as it is a topic that raises it's head every so often and a lot of complexes outside the Paphos area don't conform to the rule of having a lifeguard on duty because they can't afford to do so. Can I ask if the local community asked you to close the pool, or was it a decision just made by the committee? Thanks

Someone "grassed" us up to the local community and immediately the pool was closed by the committee. It is now roped off from anyone entering and has been since July. The pool area requires key entry as it is gated all around the complex and cannot be accessed by outsiders.
The committee have made an application to the local Paphos community and have conformed with all the necessary requirements to make it safe.
However the pool has been open in the past 12 years with no real problems. There are the usual signs that conform to health & safety. It is not an olympic size pool or anything as big as a Hotel pool and is only used by owners and invited guests.

Our pool isn't olympic sized either and so far we haven't had any issues. It's rarely used except for July and August when residents guests come over but even then no one sits round the pool as we all have our own gardens. None of the complexes in and around our village have lifeguards on duty, just the usual signs "No Lifeguard" "Private Pool" "Children must be accompanied", etc etc. We've talked to a lot of people both here and on the eastern side. The Paphos area seems to be more concerned/vigilant. The Eastern side apparently "don't care". Sad that someone grassed you up and spoiled everyone's enjoyment.

You could go to Spillies Tavern for a drink or lunch and use their pool.
Spillies is by Solos down sea caves area incase you weren't sure.
