Not sure what you were trying to post, but I saw the winner and agree that it wasn't much cop.
As an ex-Edimbourgeois (up to the time that I was conscripted in 1951), I am ashamed of my city. Why? During the Edinburgh Festival, up to the end of this week, which attracts top people in all the arts, the rubbish collectors carefully went on strike, knowing that the city would become an eyesore with the mountains of garbage on the street, including along Princes Street. I sincerely hope that the strikers do not get a penny towards what they want; they deserve nothing!
