The TFMR seem to be taking a very low key attitude towards this threat of an illegal action by the municipality and the 300-odd inhabitants of a village which doesn't even seem to have a reason for the discontent, which could end up in Brussels or the Hague.

It is just awful that the local population are being encouraged to destroy the Sea Turtles nests. It's all about money of course. Either money must be found to compensate the owners of this land adjacent to Lara beaches, or perhaps a land swap for other government state owned land could be arranged. Either way the Turtles must continue to be protected.
At least I hope so..
