We use the branch in Coral Bay strip and a while ago had a message come through that it was closing on 4th July. While in there the other day the cashier said no way were they closing!!
Can anyone enlighten us please

We couldn’t imagine it closing as it’s the only branch in this area, especially down the strip which has so many businesses. We were quite taken aback when we received the message from BOC, must have read it wrong!!!

Most probably the Coral Bay Branch is the one you use, but not your official branch where you are registered.

Mosfiloti is on the list of closures. The communal council have registered an objection, as have I. I don't think they will change their mind but one can hope because the nearest ATM, I think, is Hellenic Bank 12 km away.

What I don't understand is that the branch is overflowing with customers for most of the opening hours, so I believe that the decision was made somewhat arbitrarily.

Yes Louise, we use the Coral Bay branch but it’s not our official branch, that’s what has changed but we assume it makes no difference when using Coral Bay.

correct but it explains the message you received, so your official branch might be closing.
