Paphos Life

Does anyone know if any person/shop/business in Paphos will deliver a standard 10kg bottle/cylinder of gas to our house? We are in the central Paphos area near Kinira.

It is the standard 10kg gas bottle used for cooking.
We have not been able to find anywhere and we have no car here.

You could try asking your local Kiosk if you pay in advance could they drop it off for you.

We have already tried at the kiosk but they said they don’t deliver.

The only other suggestion I can think of is to ask a friendly neighbour.. But I realise there may be non

That is a possibility but we are looking for a permanent solution and don’t really want to keep bothering neighbours.

Very surprising that no business in Paphos seems to deliver such a basic thing.

I think the reason is that there is very little profit on the refill of a gas bottle.

Try ringing Akis our gas supply man 99771553 . We have the big bottles but he has lots of the smaller ones on his delivery truck .

What weight are the big bottles and can they also be used for cooking?

If we can use a bigger bottle then we won’t need to order again for a while.

The big bottles are 35 kilo , you can get bigger , not sure if the regulator would be the same size plus your feed pipe would have to be long enough to reach the top of the larger bottle .

Yes, the car park mentioned above delivers to me in Kamares, but I usually order 4 bottles to make it worth his while delivering up to Kamares. Try Kristos number 99 947722. He charges a small fee for delivery. Worth a try, good luck
