The stretch of land between Pachyammos and Kato Pyrgos, on the Northern Coast of the Paphos and Nicosia Districts has had a troubled past. In the Sixties, inter-communal fighting resulted in a number of abandoned villages. You can pass through most of these if you drive along the coast road. But to find Agios Theodoros, you have to know where to look....

Thanks for a lovely and interesting video. I can understand why the TC former occupants of this village wouldn't have wanted to leave this , until driven out. Beautiful countryside, looks like good agricultural land in the valley. The houses must have been well built in stone.
I always think that these ruined villages must have a story to tell. Probably very sad.

I assume that people kept their animals in some of the larger houses downstairs and living upstairs. Similar to many houses in Greek villages in the Paphos countryside. Interesting one house was with tilted roof and also the fact that all the plaster came off the river stones the houses were built.
I enjoyed also the drone video a lot, except the fact that it was only two minutes long. Perhaps changing the setting of the drone camera with the stopping down scenes I would enlarge, in order to make the whole film more relaxing and hence more long. (only my opinion perhaps) It looks so peaceful and quaint there, even with the ruined buildings. Like your beautiful video: Relaxing Cyprus Moundio Plateau I mean...
