But the anti-vaxxers told me that once restrictions were introduced, they would last forever and lead to an authoritarian new world order! I must learn to stay away from the Cyprus Mail comments section.

Just imagine if they had been right. We would all be dead and the world would have been left to the anti Vaxxers.

I would rather be dead.

Having picked up relatives twice at the airport in the last few weeks noticed that a lot of people coming through werent bothering with masks anyway, seemed to depend which airline it was.

Regardless of changes in the regulations regarding the wearing of masks when traveling by air.
As long as serious cases of the virus are still being treated in the hospitals, I will probably continue wearing mine.
Prevention is better than cure!

I went back to UK March the 2nd with jet 2 and they announced on the flight that you don't need to wear a mask onboard, there was a loud cheer and everybody took their masks off,I kept mine on tho, coming back to Cyprus last Friday flying with jet 2 almost everybody at Birmingham airport and Paphos was mask less ,have to say Birmingham airport was very very busy, likewise over an hours queue at passport control in Paphos, everybody jammed together many people coughing and spluttering,I was the only one again with a mask on,back again to UK next week so hope situation is better!
