Which vegi/salad is that?

I scattered some old bird food (wild seeds from Belgium) this spring in the garden and now I am not sure what was growing from that. It grows more than 2 meters high and the flowers disappear everyday later in the morning. Lunchtime not one flower... Is it a salad or vegetable ? I feed the leaves to my birds and they love it but maybe I would also enjoy a nice salad with the young leaves...

The verb 'complement' is correct in this context. Not that I want to be seen as the grammar police you understand! :D

Sorry about hijacking the thread Max, pretty flowers  X

...or even complement it ;)
I did A-level English - so yes spelled that way in this context I am correct!! However I COMPLIMENT you on your efforts.
COMPLIMENTING someone on their efforts is the correct spelling and use of the word.

If one thing COMPLEMENTS another, each of the two separate items look/taste better because they are together, they both contribute something which enhances/improves the overall effect thus they complement each other. AustIn7 is correct.

Will leave it there, apologies Max for hijacking the thread. :D
