Parts of the article are wrong "(He noted that of the seven kinds of snakes found in Cyprus, only the blunt-nosed viper (Macrovipera lebetina lebetina) was dangerous to humans. “All the others are completely harmless to man,” ) as some of the other snakes can bite which can be not only unpleasant...
It was also not mentioned that black snakes are hunting the vipers if they come into their environment, so it is good to have them around your property!
