Last night at 5.30 I had a phone call from a woman saying she was from the census office.

the odd thing was she was on a mobile phone number, she asked a number for questions some of which I did not answer including asking for my email address which she did not get.

Has any other members had a call like this, I have sent an email to the office for the census asking if they have any record of a staff member having this mobile number and if not to report it to this police.

Yes we had a similar call a few weeks back, all Kosher.

We have not had a phone call but we have had a Census Tater round to our house. He did well to find us to be honest

Yep we had same, questions asked were of a general nature, nothing untoward....

We came home from holiday to find a paper in our postbox with a name and mobile number asking us to call to make arrangements to answer the questions, it was a lady from the village who had just taken on the job temporarily and was using her own mobile number

The census began on the 1st October but I seem to remember they were having trouble employing enough enumerators. We had a very nice young lady do ours either that month or early in November but we live in Paphos town, it’s going to take a lot longer to track down people in the country & who live off the beaten track.

We've had the letter too, completed and returned about two weeks ago.
