Just had a strange phone call from an allegedly local mob. No.
Telling me that there had been some strange activity on my Social Insurance account ( didn't know I had one)...and that an arrest warrant had been issued against me, then press 1 ..
At that stage a man of Indian heritage ,in a very busy office, started by asking for my name ....at this point I refused and hung up ... ..
Spam methinks......
Anyone else had same?

I would inform the Police as you have the mobile number.

Yes also today and have blocked further calls from the number.

Have reported to Cyber Crime division of Cy Police...

A fair few reports of this today.

Received it myself, just hung up.

It's fairly simple to spoof/fake a number for caller ID
My brother had a missed call here in the UK yesterday from a local number. He phoned it back to be told "the number you have called has not been recognised"

Had one today on my Cyprus phone, which we very rarely use. Recorded message, in an American accent, saying my social security had been hacked and there was fraudulent activity on my account, and, a warrant had been issued for my arrest. Still waiting for the police to come round and arrest me. Did not bother to press 1 to speak to someone who could help me. We make sure that neighbours, who are not as tech savvy are aware that these calls are happening and they are scams and just to hang up.
