I have found in the recent past that it is not easy finding the company or utility that you want to pay

:) Hi there, interesting that you go so far to say "useless" as I have had absolutely no problems paying via JCC whatsoever 8-). I pay electricity, water and council tax bills using this site and found it very fast and reliable
I'm presuming here that you have an existing log-in with password as well

You say that you cannot find a lot of organisations but have you tried going into your personal list of Companies that you paid to previously as the organisational names will be there in the form of a history of payments made, that you can refer back to. Also it seems to remember that I have paid certain amounts with my debit card previously, so don't have to get any additional SMS texts to verify authorisation it jut accepts it via my debit card and then I can also download an additional receipt in pdf format if I choose.

It could possibly be an issue with your browser as I use either Opera or Firefox with no glitches.

Anyway, that's just my personal experience about the site.

Easy Peasy :D - When you have logged, in you are presented with a profile page showing "My Transactions" which lists the ref no, organisation, status, amount, etc
Then to the right of the list there a green plus sign, which you can select to expand the view details about the transaction and below that (after a new page opens) is an option to "repeat the payment process" for that particular organisation if you so wish 8-)

The most unfair and ridiculous charge ever! I always send a cheque and let have the inconvenience of having to bank it! It’s the only time I write a cheque now.

Strange, I also use Safari and have no problem with JCC.
To see if I also had a problem although not in that area I also tried to open Kouklia Community Council and that opened fine and listed Water Dues, Taxes and Property Taxes as payment fields.
Kouklia appears in Organisations under the letter K.

I have just paid a bill via JCC Smart to Synergas using Google Chrome, and had no problems.

Why? Most cookies are just there to remember your site preferences, so you don't get asked the same questions all the time. They aren't a bad thing.

But if you really hate cookies, you should be able to disable them altogether in your browser settings.

All these problems could be avoided if you could authorize the relevant authority to charge your bank account directly by direct debit order. You´d never have any late payment fees and wouldn´t have to worry about any payment deadlines.
