Not sure if the cinema is popular in Paphos but went to see the film last night (first visit allowed for 2 years) & without giving away too much the part of Buddy (Jude Hill) who was probably 9 years old at the the time was brilliant

Judy Dench, Jamie Dorman & many others also gave a great performance

Any members seen it?

Glad you managed to get out to see a film. Must have been weird after all that time. I haven't heard anything about it at all I'm afraid.

Saw it a little while ago and thought it was excellent. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

On a side note, my wife's friend went to the cinema in Larnaca last week to see the Gucci film, she was the only one in there, she said it was a very weird experience.

From what MM has said Jim don't wait for this mag thingy. Just treat your wife to an evening at a modern cinema with state of the art image and sound equipment, climate control air-conditioning, recliner seats, uninterrupted sight lines, facilities for people with special needs. Bit different to some of the flea pits we used to visit

Excellent film, based on Kenneth Branaghs childhood in Belfast. Shot in black and white gives it a certain edge.

Norv I will wait a short time at home on my Mag, I did not know about any cinema that is still open, but we get all we need to see on streaming TV. Very happy to wait. :)

We sit close to our 55'' TV and we do have a excellent sound system, no sure with Covid it is a good idea to sit in any Cinema.. :geek:
