Does anyone know if an MUKW3 is acceptable as proof of residence for the purpose of renewing a driving licence or will they still insist on six months utility bills?

They will want the six months utility bills

There must be an alternative, even if it is not listed. Many women do not have utility bills because all the bills are in the husbands or partners name..

Try phoning the POLIS Citizen office (less busy) and asking them what alternative they will accept.. Maybe a letter from the Mukta..

But there must be other women in this group who have had the same problem

My wife solved this problem afte having trouble proving address to somebody in the UK.

She is a half-owner of the house so just went up to the council and got the water bill put into her name instead of mine. No charge and done straight away. Next bill arrives and hey presto she now has a utility bill in her name.

But of course, it would be six months before she could use them as proof of living there '

The local mukhtar can sign a form for the partner or wife to say he/she are resident if no utilities are in their name. We had to do this when my licence was due for renewal and it is accepted by the relevant government department.

It says here: Wedding Certificate plus copy if EAC bills are not in both names.

You would have thought bank account statements would be considered, even if a joint account...
Or a phone contract.

All necessities of most people's everyday lives now.

Recently went to CSC desk at Anavargos Post Office and showed utility bills in husband's name and our marriage certificate.
I had also taken our rental agreement which is in joint names but the lady didn't ask for any further proof.
