Yellow weather warning issued for storms overnight, Wednesday

A yellow weather warning was issued on Tuesday for heavy rainfall and possible hail overnight and into Wednesday.The meteorological service said that from 8pm until 5pm on Wednesday isolated, intense storms are expected to affect the region.Precipitation is expected to be between 35 and 50 millimetres per hour while there is possibility of hail....

That was some storm. A lightning strike hit just across the road from our place. Hail, rain and gale force winds.
Kept us awake.

It looks from the forecast that we have a lot more rain to come during the day.
My dog just wished it was not accompanied by the Thunder and Lightning

What a wild night, weather wise I mean! Phew. Not much sleep for me or dogs. Today not looking great so time to light the log fire and also make a pan of soup and some soda bread!

I was too worried to leave the computer plucked-in while the lightning strikes were too close to my place, so I missed the first championship matches to watch....a real shame as Leipzig won against City....
