Whats happened to Marmite. Can't find any in Philippos or Paps/Chloraka or Lidyl. Any suggestions where we can find some?

Why is there no Marmite in Sainsburys?
Marmite is made by Unilever, and the manufacturer has released a statement explaining why customers can't get their hands on the controversial spread at the moment. The reason behind the shortage is due to the closure of breweries as a result of coronavirus restrictions.27 Apr 2021

Why not make your own? Mix two parts tar with one part creosote while heating over a dustbin fire, then add a sack of rock salt and stir with an old boot on a stick until the neighbours complain. Serve with toast and regret.
(Just joking - I love Marmite, whatever unholy ingredients it's made from!)

Me too. Our current favourites in the UK are Marmite-branded Houmous and Marmite-branded peanut butter which is available as smooth or crunchy.
I even had a go at making my own Marmite peanut butter by buying some cheapo smooth peanut butter from Lidl, and mixing in 10% (by weight) of Marmite in a warm pan. Didn't come out too bad either.

Stocked up in February when a shortage of Marmite was announced, yet since then it has appeared en masse on two separate occasions in Papantoniou.
If there is a gap in the shelf where it is normally displayed that means they are expecting a delivery, but if the 'gap' is filled with other items then it will be longer and worth enquiring at Customer Services or even send an email to Head Office. When I complete the survey which comes with every receipt if something is missing I always report it.
Also happens with other overseas products but I do not want to cause a stampede!
