Just try loading it from your PC. It allows much bigger files now. Just add an attachment.

I thought I would give it a test adding a picture

It refused my first attempt but I have done it with a lower resolution

My picture programme saves pics in pixels, and I use the Maximum, 1600.. But I reduced the snow picture to 1024... Trial and error will show me if I can use a bit more

It should allow any size now, and automatically reduce it.

This is a test...

Ah now that hasn't resized anything. If you look, the image is 8.64 Mb size, which is way too big for the forum.

Yes, that one was over 5000 pixels wide but has been reduced to 1024 pixels automatically.

Dominic I have just tried to post a picture and got this message..

"The image must be at least 0 pixels wide, 0 pixels high and at most 1024 pixels wide and 1024 pixels high. The submitted image is 1600 pixels wide and 901 pixels high.

So it seems I will still have to reduce the size of the pics saved in my computer files??

Perhaps a stupid question but who pays for all of this? All I know is if I run out of space I have to purchase extra storage or start to delete files. I wonder how Dominic or other web site owners manage this
