Specialist for back pain

My partner is suffering persistent lower back pain. Can anyone recommend a good specialist to identify the source? Thank you.
It really does depend on what is causing the back pain, i suffered for many years with back pain, passed off as occupational factors due to working in health & social care, years later I have been diagnosed with psoriatic arthritis & ankylosing spondylitis a debilitating condition
I suggest you start with your personal doctor for a bit of fact finding to try to find the reason behind the pain.
