Those are much nicer than that ugly moth posted elsewhere on the forum....
I think the flowers in the 2nd image get referred to as "bottle brush" flowers which is understandable but I don't recognise the first flower. What's the name of that one please?

My sister can't stand moths either. personally I find moth larvae to be much worse. Some of those buggers can grow to about 4 inches long and look hideous.

Thanks for the flower name Shane.... I'm not a fan of moths since one crawled over my pillow when I was a kid. I also can't stand daddy longlegs and cockroaches but that's the end of my list, except for wasps

Hi Shane, found it finally on the internet. It is native to New Zealand (Christmas Tree) and belongs to the Metrosideros group (excelsa) Funny that it was available in Cyprus. Don't need much water and grows like mad (3 m high in 2 years) Thanks anyhow for your answer.

Yes the first two are Passion flower and bottle brush, the bottle brush won't flower for long and makes a real mess when it drops. Funnily enough I saw one at the garden centre today I didn't think you could get them in the U.K.
