Fire near Stroumbi

There seems to have been, or maybe still ongoing, a fire very roughly around Stroubi filling station area.
I have been able to smell the smoke and see ash falling for an hour or so.
I have not heard helicopters so perhaps they are managing with fire trucks

Edit. I can hear a helicopter now, but not sure if it is over Stroumbi

Trev, it’s beyond the petrol station , I have a clear line of sight from here. It’s on the valley area on the left hand side of the main road heading towards Polis, roughly in line with the supermarket as I look across towards Stroumbi. I’ll send you a pic.

I drove past it when it was underway. I took this from Stroumbi, next to the little takeaway on top of the hill. I posted it to the Paphos Life Facebook page.

There were already a couple of fire engines on the scene, and two helicopters dropping water. When I came back a couple of hours later it was out.
