There is no censorship in Cyprus, Education Minister Prodromos Prodromou said on Saturday when asked to comment on the issue of an English textbook that was withdrawn over a reference to Kemal Ataturk, the founder of the Turkish Republic....

It just goes to show how the powers that be can be more and more stupid. Yet we rely on people like him to define the laws that we have to adhere to.

Ridiculous. Why do some people make a mountain out of a mole hill. Of course there is censorship in Cyprus. If only politics could be kept out of schools and children's minds not poisoned regarding Turkish Cypriots.
