Random Acts of Kindness - are you missing out on these?

In our conjoined two villages here in the UK we have a fairly good amount of postboxes.

Over recent months, a group has grown throughout the UK and extended to other countries with regards to crocheted postbox toppers.

This was our summer offering which appeared atop of our closest one.

It was replaced on Monday by another, which I will upload later.

Throughout the lockdowns these started to appear all over our town and then as the festive period approached, they were changed to more appropriate scenes.

As far as I'm aware nobody, other than the creator(s) knows who put them there.

Certainly brightened up dark times.

Such a nice gesture and a little smile brought to those passing by. I’m now thinking what I could do for ours. šŸ¤”

I suspect a few Knotts needed while making that one? šŸ˜‰šŸ˜

They appear in Paphos too. A lady even published a film on Paphos Chat showing how to make them. There were lots of posts about them last year.

The Facebook group page is huge. I shared a photo yesterday to our local group of a topper that has to be around 60cm tall.

It's really taken off in a big way.

I didn't get round to posting the latest topper yesterday as promised, we got very much swamped with online sales after lunch until the early evening when we were going out with friends.

I shall do it later....

Ah, here we go - this is our Autumn Leaves offering on the corner of the Esplanade which appeared on Monday morning. We were on our way to the rendezvous point for our coach trip to Liverpool and needed to drop a couple of items in this, our nearest postbox. Usually we go into the village and drop our stuff in the main postbox by the post office. A lucky find....

We're currently feeding 3 hedgehogs of a night in our side yard so this topper has been very popular when I posted the photo up - we have a lot of hedgehogs, or so it seems - maybe we're all feeding the same ones?????
