Hi
Came back to Paphos on Monday after 10 months away , my hubby pay as you go phone credit has obviously expired as it’s showing emergency calls only, It won’t allow me to top up, so do I have to go to the cyta office to sort it out, and will he have to have a new phone number?
Any advice will be helpful
Thanks
Sue

Phone Cyta on 132 & ask them, they are very helpful. I think you press * (star) for English.

Hi Tuppence, this happened to me in a far far far away land in the distant past...... Seriously you will have to get a new number and if you go to the Mall to the phone shop they will issue you with a new sim and transfer all your numbers to the new sim. It cost me 12 Euros with 10 Euro included as a top up. In reality this was two years ago when last in Cyprus.I have to do the same again when I arrive eventually. Hope this helps.

I use Cyta so easy and the credit lasts for 12 months from when its put on, two years ago I was away from Cyprus and the credit ran out but when I returned I bought new credit at the local kiosk simply added it in the usual manner and the phone was up and running again. 8-)

I've topped mine up from the UK for the last 2 years with €10 each time ..... think we currently are in credit by about €35!!!
But, at least we still have our number that we've had for several years!

:D
