Presumably, eight weeks between jabs is the norm now for the Astra Zennica vaccine. For the Pfizer Vaccine I thought that the 2nd dose was given after 3 weeks?
I wouldn't blame anyone in the UK for being confused! It seems as if every time Boris opens his mouth with his latest idea to change things people seem to end up confused.
I wonder why when he speaks on TV to the nation he usually has Chris Whitty his chief scientific advisor on one side, and an experienced medical advisor on the other. Yet when he speaks,he seems to ignore their advice if its gets in the way of his plans,

More confusion after 19th July. I will be still in quarantine on 19th July after returning to the UK from Cyprus.

I have searched the government website for information, but nowhere does it tell you if you are free to leave quarantine on 19th July. Being fully vaccinated, and tested, I do not see why should I need to quarantine after that date, if others returning on or after that date do not.

Not enough thought has gone into the information provided.

Logic would dictate that you therefore remain in Quarantine until your allotted period is over.

I think the word " confused" has been overused in the media to the extent that it has become common usage in relation to covid restrictions. It's overuse has the appearance of making out that the general population of the UK do not have any sense and are incapable of independent thought. If people paid attention to what was being said and published and not speculating what could happen in the future it would be easier to understand.

The not remaining in quarantine after 19 July is only for UK residents who had both jabs in the UK ie NHS app

Why though should British Nationals who live in Cyprus, but
have received 2 vaccinations of the same vaccines as those used in theUK, and have vaccinations cards issued by GeSY, the Health Service Cyprus, be forced to self isolate for
10day?. Plus pay for 3 PCR tests, after arrival in the UK? British Nationals are not required to self isolate on arrival in Cyprus, provided they have already received 2 vaccinations and have had a PCR test prior to the flight to Paphos.
Seems somewhat unfair.

UK is no longer a member of the EU so apparently they are looking at adding expats to the exceptions but it takes the BoJo government ages to decide
