Worse than the Mari explosion? That killed 13 people, destroyed Cyprus's main power station and caused $5bn of damage.

Very true. Has the President forgotten that? Though the Mari explosion occurred during the previous president, Demetris Christofias watch.
But over the last week there have also been a number of terrible fires.
