No police officer will face criminal proceedings over the apparent failure to act that allowed a serial killer to go undetected for about three years and kill five women and two children, the state Legal Service said on Monday....

That is so sad, I had hoped Cyprus had moved on but it seems not.

The question I asked myself was would the police have reacted with the same apparent indifference had the poor women , who I seem to remember were domestic helpers, been Cypriots? I think not,
