I'm with Cyta and I get almost none. I think their filters are very good. And on my personal Yahoo account I get none at all. So it probably depends who your service provider is.
I am with CYTA as well and use Gmail. I am hoping the advice from Dominic will do the trick.
It can take time and initially it will seem like there is no effect. Gradually they decrease though. It is like removing slugs from a garden.

Use a browser which doesn't track your activity when online. I downloaded Brave browser last year for my personal viewing when we decided we were going to look at the possibility of purchasing a second home overseas.
I also opened a protonmail account to use with the browser.
Absolutely no tracking of my browsing and no spam in my inbox.
If you choose not to do that, be sure to never be logged into your email account when browsing the web.

Spam is best in the fry pan!!!
If you do not know who the email is from just do not open it.
They send back a message when opened that the email address is live!

When dealing with spammers it is best just to hang up on them. If the email is spam, don't reply to it. Don't even click that "unsubscribe" option. If you do that, you are flagging your email address as live. This will provoke more spam in future. With phone calls, I like to tell them that I am putting them on hold, then sing down the phone to them until they hang up.

Which song do you sing to them, is it a soft Celine number or an upbeat YMCA perhaps

I had two yesterday from a Danish number and a German number.
I kept him talking for a short while and then informed him that I was a cop and he’d been talking long enough to be able to trace the call… his reply? F*** off you motherf********, you are a f****** motherf******* and then he hung up

Just a thought, I was told that some of these scammers
like you to keep them on the line, reason being the call is on a premium cost line, which means they are charging you a few euros per minute,
I might have it wrong, but maybe someone might know better then me?

I think that’s only if you call them back ?

Apple’s new software coming out in a Autumn, will screen emails and web browsing, like a super VPN, that will stop software companies trawling you and getting information about you. Will affect Facebook and Google big time. They are the two biggest problems on the internet and the data they are gaining from you is being sold willy-nilly. Anyone with Alexa will also notice they can cause a splurge of emails and adverts by saying certain things….

It's all well and good blaming Google and Facebook, but they are offering free services which you are under no obligation to use. How else do you expect them to make an income? A subscription service?

BEWARE ! Scam text messages doing the rounds claiming to be DHL or UPS saying a parcel is awaiting pickup but you have a small amount to pay to meet import duties etc. Asks you to send your card info and mobile number to a link. A friend of mine recently got scammed for a large amount from a location in Germany then they tried it again from France. His bank informed and apparently it's happeded to several unsuspecting people recently so just be aware.....

If your email address is already out there in spamland, it will stay out there, no matter what browser you use. It will be on lists that get bought and sold on the darkweb etc.

Well, depending on your email client, you can add spam senders to blocked senders lists etc. It won't seem effective at the start, but you will gradually wittle them down.
