This is the latest video from Tesla's Mega factory at Berlin, nearly ready to produce cars, however the battery factory is still behind schedule. It is amazing how much steel they install for the football field sized rebar cage one can see at 13:06 on that video ...and how much concrete they will pour in order to take the heavy weights of batteries. I also like the zoom images from the drone looking inside the building... (5:05)

It is such a huge area. Enormous.

That is the site where they cut down all the trees to make space for the factory.

These trees were planted in the past to be cut for business. Unfortunately through climate change and mono culture most of the trees are sick and cannot be sold for any good price.

It would be interesting to know whether the final building permit will be issued before they finish. Or not at all? There is still ongoing debate about the water consumption of the factory and whether the demand can be met without problems for the residential areas nearby.
