What a day around the island, twice we visited testing stations but not a hope in hells chance!
Never seen queues like it and only 6 testing stations in Paphos today ( 5 tomorrow)
Alot of workers shall be queuing early tomorrow as couldn't get tested today but thankfully afew opening at 7.30 am .
Still waiting to hear from Gov as not on gesy, systems going down, all pre planned without a doubt and now you cant even get on a bus without a pass!
Not to worry, as long as you've got your sticker which you all seemed more concerned about, enjoy your wk 🤣

Yes, I read that too. But Paphos seems to have less rather than more testing stations.
My nephew's children are living in Spain. They also need to wear a mask at school.
In Cyprus there were a number of cases of Covid, in schools, before Easter, where both teachers and pupils were affected.
As the main school exams are coming up shortly, may haave a bearing on why children and teachers need to wear masks now to try to stop Covid once again threatening to stop these important exams.

The main GCSEs and the equivalents are going on as we speak. To be honest, we are just thankful that they are. Kids have been messed around so much by Exam Boards - notably Cambridge - that we will quite frankly be very glad to see the back of it all. They've had to suffer huge amounts of disruptions to their education.

This is also why I get annoyed when I see bullshit kids-today-dont-know-they-are-born posts.
