Paphos Life

Very hot (25C) and low humidity today (22%) at this moment up the hills of Paphos. It looks like that the Summer already arrived in April...in Germany they had -10C and snow yesterday in Bavaria.

We've been having slightly chilly swims in our pool for a few days now. The sea is also quite nice, though it is slightly warmer on the Polis side.

You are very brave Dominic, it would be much too chilly for me. If you fancy a cold sea in hot Summer than have one day a ride to Melanda beach, 4 km South of Highway to Limassol exit Evdimou (belongs to United Kingdom zone) It has cold currents which is very refreshing in July and a nice beach bar and British food. The beach itself has got round pebbles from Alabaster, very clean and nice to collect. Weekend very busy with Army families. Water is very shallow the first 30 meters or so. When I lived in Polis area it was a big change to go for a swim there...

They do very nice fish in that restaurant. But yes, the water is surprisingly cold there. There are some nice little beaches between Pissouri and Limassol. One of them even has sunbeds for local hotel residents. The only odd thing, is that I can never work out where the local hotel might be.

Check the temperature for tomorrow Sunday , a drop of several degrees. lefkes.

It is only a 1-2 days cold front... after that all nice and warm, by the way we have now 12am first time this year 28C with low humidity of 23%

Any doubts the Summer arrived? Again today very low humidity from the early morning (20%) in my area North of Town. Wonder when the predicted rain will arrive as next week is May. Already everything bone dry in the garden.

No drop of temperatures, just the reverse. Hotter Saturday and Sunday than today.

I've given up with Accuweather & Wunderground as useless these days, having sworn by them for years. I now check WorldWeatherOnline:
