Looking for a Financial Genius

I am looking to find professional help to sort out a Financial. It relates to a £7000 invested monthly Income fund I took out 20 years ago. It has moved around a bit, not my doing, and after the latest move the new Fund Manager wants 1. Certified Identity Document 2. Certified proof of Residential Address document 3. Certified source of funds. 4. Certified Source of wealth. This last one wants, if derived from employment, a full history of occupations both current and former including names of companies and positions held dates and annual salary received whilst in these positions.

I am 79 years old, retired for 20 years worked for quite a few companies often on a commission basis, is there a person out there who can deal with this, I can’t be the only person faced with a similar problem.

The whole thing is totally ridiculous.

Hi Alister,
I'm no financial genius, but I could suggest something re your last request about your employment record.

When I turned 65 and had to apply for my state pension, I had to inform them of my employment record,
like yourself I couldn't remember half of it over the years.
So I rang them up and told them so, they replied ''don't worry we have it here, just put what you can remember'',
it was a great help.
I have only worked in the UK though, so I'm guessing it would only apply to UK work, but you never know.
