To do this at ANY time of the year is a sin... To do this in Spring, when the birds have mated, built their nests, hatched their eggs, and are desperately trying to feed their hatchlings with any kind of protein they can find, is pure bloody EVIL !!!
Is the village phylosophy (handed down from Father to Son over the generations) "these birds take the bread from our mouths, so kill them"??

Shane good morning.
I just thought it should remind all members of this despicable act that in my time here has never stopped or been abated.
Cyprus is not all about beaches and bars and sunshine, there are some downsides to living here, this is one of them as is animal poisoning, but I won't go into that now.
