Chloraka Drive

A drive through Chloraka, in March 2021. According to Google, Chloraka is a village in the Paphos District of Cyprus, 3 km north of Paphos. The town is host to Akritas Chlorakas, a Cypriot Second Division football team. I did not know that when I googled it.

If, like me, your main experience of Chloraka is driving along the road to Kissonerga, passing Paps and Computer SOS along the way, you will be surprised to see just how much more there is to the town.

Our drive starts at the Paphos end of Chloraka, and drives through the centre. It then goes up to the Paps road, before returning towards the start. We turn right at the Old Pita Giga Crossroads, and drive down to the coast, finishing at the shipwreck of the MV Demetrios II.

I live here too. I liked the first film that you took of the village, it helped because when driving at low speed it gives more time for viewers to focus on the changing street scene on both sides of the road. Thank you,

I also thought that Chloraka was looking much smarter now that last years road works seem to be complete.

Can't tell you how much I enjoyed that film Dominic. My Hubby and I spent two VERY HAPPY years living in Chloraka before we moved on to 'pastures new.' Thank you so much.
