UK paper £20 notes

I was talking to my mother the other day and she said about the paper £20 notes going out of use.
I have looked on the internet and found that you have till August 2021 to change them to the new notes (plastic notes).
I have one £20 note in paper so I need to get it changed, I might put it in a bit of card like a birthday card and send it to my mother.
Then she can use it or change it.
This is a heads up for you if you have any old paper £20's here in Cyprus.
